At the end of a one-year project, we are the first company in the department to have obtained the 'Pro-Bike Employer Objective' label in July, at the 'Silver' level. 

Several prerequisites have been put in place to be eligible for the pro-bike employer label, including the construction of a new bike shelter at the entrance of our site with repair tools available and spaces for electric bikes.

Our company is located in an industrial area near a small town and a greenway, making the bike commute not only practical but also enjoyable. About half of our employees meet the criteria, meaning they live within 10 kilometers of our site. Additionally, our region benefits from a favorable climate, making cycling a viable option throughout the year. Cycling offers numerous health benefits, especially for factory and office jobs, whether they are sedentary or involve carrying loads. The psychological benefits include stress relief and increased well-being at work. Within a few months of setting up the appropriate facilities, we have already seen a significant increase in the number of employees cycling to work every day. It made perfect sense for us to put in place the necessary prerequisites to be certified, in order to promote this beneficial initiative for everyone." In line with obtaining this label, we organized a bike day on September 17th at our factory, open to all employees of the Tech Ulrich industrial area in Céret, in collaboration with the Casa Bicicleta association and the Vallespir Community of Communes. Free bike technical inspections, Q&A workshops on bike safety, and the possibility of donating old bikes were on the agenda for this day.
